Scale Your Anonymization Without Maintenance
The fastest way to begin anonymizing large video and image workloads is to use our fully managed brighter Redact Online offering running on Microsoft Azure. Via our REST API exposed under api.brighter.ai, you can post, inspect, and finally download your anonymized workload.

Our solution is built for horizontal scaling; when you increase the provided workload, up to hundreds of Azure nodes spin up automatically reaching multiple thousands of frames per second in throughput. As we own the entire stack, you never need to worry about patches, GPU drivers, or Kubernetes upgrades. Everything is handled by our engineering teams. We separate production and development networks for restricted access. Traffic enters our service API only over TLS-encrypted channels. All databases, message queues, and disks are encrypted at rest. Continuous audit logging captures activity across both of our Azure resources and our corporate network. For any customer-provided data, we have a data retention policy of one day.
Our full security posture extends over several other layers; to include them all, would stretch the blog post. To underline our responsibility when it comes to data security, we recently participated in a TISAX assessment. The assessment result underscores the maturity of our security posture, an assurance your compliance office will appreciate.
To get familiar with our anonymization solution, we recommend our web app. Just upload your media, configure anonymization settings, and download finalized jobs. (Refer to the steps given above). Developers can integrate brighter AI programmatically by sending requests to our REST endpoint at https://api.brighter.ai. The full specification lives in our documentation portal, and a step-by-step tutorial shows how to submit a task, poll for status, and download redacted results in minutes. To fully integrate into existing Python projects, we also provide a client called redact-client. This is our public Python repository which can be used as CLI or for importing into your existing Python projects. Whether you process individual clips from in-vehicle recorders or batch-submit entire directories collected during fleet testing, our under-the-hood Kubernetes cluster scales horizontally depending on the workload.
