If you use the our cloud API, there are no minimum hardware requirements. Since processing is done in our secure cloud, you only need to have a computer with a good internet connection and the Google Chrome browser. Detection accuracies depend on the respective material, and we recommend testing our demo. Based on publicly available datasets, our detections are state-of-the-art (min.97% to 99% in publicly available datasets such as for license plates in the Caltech dataset; faces in the WIDER FACE dataset).

Once data is properly anonymized, it no longer qualifies as personal data and is generally not subject to privacy laws such as: GDPR (European Union), CCPA (California, USA), CSL/PIS (China), PIPA (South Korea), APPI (Japan). However, the anonymization must meet the legal standards of each jurisdiction. brighter AI provides solutions designed to support compliance by irreversibly removing personal identifiers, but we recommend consulting with legal experts to ensure regulatory alignment in your specific use case.

No. We focus on face and license plate redaction. Our solution prevents industry standard algorithms from identifying these PII. You remain responsible for ensuring that all needed redactions also of potential other PII are made to every frame of the video.

We do not view your data. We only process your original data for the anonymization purpose and delete it directly afterwards. Your anonymized files can be deleted upon user request or will be deleted automatically after 24 hours. Throughout the entire anonymization process, we comply with the highest data security and data privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA, CSL/PIS, etc.).

No, to this date, we only provide image and video redaction.

The application programming interface (API) allows you to integrate brighter Redact with your own software and to automate the anonymization process. The user interface (UI) allows you to directly upload or ‘drag and drop’ your file and to get it anonymized immediately online without any programming needed.

Please note, after your trial period ends. You just have to select a paid version in the ‘Plans’ section to continue using brighter Redact Portal to use our anonymization solutions without any interruptions.

The 14-day trial gives you full access to brighter React Portal, including DNAT, PB, and FBB, including Selective Redaction. The trial is limited to a maximum file size of 20 MB, with an overall usage up to 5 minutes of video and 20 images. Once your trial license will automatically deactivate once the trial period ends.
